On World Mental Health Day, the Shadow Minister for Health, Andrew RT Davies, said:
Today is World Mental Health Day and it is really important this year that we focus on what we can do to help people who are struggling with their mental health.
Sadly we’ve been through a pretty bleak six months and looking forward it looks as if restrictions are going to stay in place with the Covid-19 virus.
But it is good to talk - one of the simplest but key messages we can convey to many people because one in three of us will suffer an episode of mental health through our life.
So, let’s make sure we focus on people’s mental health during World Mental Health Day and support as many people as we possibly can by just saying: It’s good to talk.
