Commenting on the announcement today (June 11) of a £60-million energy scheme at Pembroke Dock, Russell George MS – the Shadow Minister for Infrastructure – said:
"This is great news for the region, and great news for Wales, showing – as it does – the level of confidence the private sector has in the dock and this vital artery to and from Wales.
"I am pleased that the Welsh Government has worked with the UK Government to bring this energy project to Pembroke.
"The 1,800-odd jobs the scheme will generate are a bit of welcome news as we see the Welsh economy in stasis because of the lockdown and the lack of a coherent roadmap from the Labour-led government out of it.”
