Safety issues at the Merrie Harrier junction pose many dangers to our community.
Vehicles turning right into our village at the junction are often at risk, and we believe turning on the filter arrow at the junction would make it safer.
The Vale Council has always refused to do so, because they believe turning on the filter arrow would cause tailbacks for traffic approaching the junction on Dinas Powys.
We're therefore asking the Council to turn on the filter arrow for a trial period, so that the safety benefits can be assessed alongside any disruption it may cause to traffic flows, and measures can be brought forward to improve road safety.
Help us make it happen by signing our petition.
